Our Version of Soarin

One of our favorite rides at Disneyland and Cali. Adventure was "Soarin Over California". To feel kind of like you're flying...so fun. So this is our version for the kids. Ben swoops them through the house just inches above the ground.... And the ride ends with a leap into the air. It always takes their breath away and makes me laugh. They love it.

Our Little Princess

No longer does she wear shorts, pants, or shirts. Nope. Dresses only, thank you very much. You just try talking her out of it. You won't win, trust me! But that's okay. It's a cute phase that she's going through and it will bring us happy memories 10 years from now.

Celebrations

(Don't forget to give me your email address before we go private)
Father's Day and Ben's 27th Birthday were only 4 days apart. We sure do love our Daddy and appreciate everything he does for us.

(Hmmmm, I wonder where my kids get their attachment to a blanket?! Ben has had his "woobie" since the 5th grade. I don't blame him though. It's the comfiest blanket in the world. I steal it every chance I get!)

We celebrated the Father's Day weekend using our new grill. It wasn't his gift (we do homemade gifts for mother's and father's day), but it did make Father's Day a little more exciting. We got it 7 days ago and have used it for 4 of those meals. We're loving it.

For his birthday he got a table saw and of course the traditional (in my family) bag full of his favorite candy. Sour gummy worms, laffy taffy (the one's with the great jokes on them!) and strawberry Charlestons Chew's. Mmmm, good selection.

Love you Benjamin!!!

It's Time

(Update: Sorry about not being able to post comments yesterday. It should work now!)

I was hoping we'd never have to go private. It's nice for people that I haven't seen or talked to in a while to be able find our blog, but we just can't leave it open for the world to see anymore.

So please leave us your email address and we'll send you an invite. We won't have it open for much longer so get your name on the list!!!

P.S. I would recommend putting up a map tracker on your blog that way you can see who's looking at it. For the longest time we didn't have anyone looking at ours from any random places, but we do now along with inappropriate comments. Sad that we have to deal with that.

We're Alive

I've been a total slacker when it comes to my blog. So here's a quick update.

We're in Vancouver and all settled in. My mom came over to help us unpack (she's AWESOME) and it was done in 3 days. Friends back in Silverdale offered to clean our old townhouse so we didn't have to make another trip there and back. Jamie, you're AWESOME. It's hard to accept help, but I'm so glad I did. I'm quite uncomfortable! I walk around like a penguin and breathe like a...I don't know. Something that breathes really loud. I'm "pleasently plump" as Ben would say and very excited to have Kate here with us. Once I hit 39 weeks I'm going to ask to be induced. We've gotta be ready for Michael's wedding on the 1st!!!

Our new townhouse in working out great for us. My rule is that every post needs a picture, but I can't find the cord to my camera, so these will have to do.

The outside. We live in a teal one.

You can see in this picture that we do have a backyard. That was a must in choosing a place to rent. It's great for this kids and I.

As soon as I find my camera cord I'll post more pictures of what we've been up to. Hope everyone is doing GREAT!

I'm not sure what the next 2 weeks hold for us. Most likely living out of a hotel and living a crazy here and there life. So this may be my last post for at least 2 or 3 weeks.

32 Weeks and Counting! We can't wait for this little girl to be here. Sam continues to tell me that she "needs come out". Very cute. Once we move I'll have to search out a new doctor. This will be my 3rd for this pregnancy. I can't wait until all of our stuff is settled into the new place (wherever that may be!) and sort through all of the cute girl clothes. One things for sure. I'm not sitting around bored all day waiting for my due date to arrive. We'll keep busy right up to D-day, I'm sure.

More From Sandpoint

Downtown with Grandpa.

Sam's cute poodle skirt. She entertained many people at the downtown Farmer's Market with her dancing!

Playing with Radley.

The cutest kid ever; my nephew Cade.

Sandpoint and Lost in the 50's

Since Ben has been working non stop, the kids and I decided to go on a trip to Sandpoint. It took our minds off the fact that Daddy is always gone :(. It was TONS of fun especially since it was Lost in the 50's weekend (a yearly thing in Sandpoint).
I'm completely engrossed in finding a place to live and haven't dowloaded all my pictures yet, so I stole these from Valeri's blog!

Samantha and Rad. They play so well together. Doesn't this look like an engagement photo?!

Uncle Mike putting up Mom's "Bat House". Is that not the weirdest thing you ever heard? But at the same time, it's pretty cool. It will help keep the mosquito population down since the bats will eat them. Very clever.

Andrew playing with Alex.

Sister's and baby bump. It doesn't show off my belly very well, so I'll have to post some better pictures later.

Eating at Dub's.

Grandpa Bob's car in the parade. By far, the most fun car of the day. Except when it backfires and you can't hear for the next 10 seconds!

Both of Grandpa's cars. Michael and Candi are driving in the Roadster. By the way, we LOVED meeting Candi and her parents. Can't wait for the wedding in August.

This summarized how Sam felt about the parade. Too loud. She kept asking, "Mom, go to car?". She was so done.

Grameri, Sam, me and Andrew at the parade.

Customer appreciation at the Auto Haus (Grandpa's store). Yummy food, 50's music and fun cars to look at.

More News...

We're moving....in 2 weeks. Yeah, I can't believe it myself. It's a little crazy. Ben is being transferred to the estimating office in Vancouver, WA. He really wants to do estimating, so this is a great opportunity, and I'm happy for him. Not so happy about moving, but hey, what can you do.

This week we're working on finding a place to live and the next week we'll be moving. Ben's first day at the office is June 9th. CRAZY!!!
